In January, the Kansas and Missouri Government Affairs Committees challenged each other to raise $100 or more per committee member for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee. The winning committee would receive breakfast in November, served by the other committee's chair.

Kansas won, with 84% of their committee members contributing $100 or more to the RPAC! In Missouri, 72% of members contributed $100 or more. Missouri Government Affairs Committee chair Dan O'Neill served up a hot breakfast on Friday, Nov. 6 for the Kansas committee members.

The big winner in the challenge is RPAC and the real estate industry! Without RPAC, we would not have the First-time Homebuyer Tax Credit or the more recent extension and expansion of the credit.
