Through local and national efforts going on now, the REALTOR® brand is gaining more and more exposure.
Locally, KCRAR is placing print and online advertisements and articles in the real estate sections of The Kansas City Star, in the popular Sunday STAR Magazine supplement, in the young adult-oriented publication called Ink and online at kansascity.com and inkkc.com.
This ad, which first appeared on March 1, is scheduled to run again March 29 and April 19 in The Star's Sunday real estate section. It brings attention to the 2009 first-time homebuyer tax credit and urges consumers to "Call a REALTOR® Today" to take advantage of the opportunity the credit presents through December 1.
And this ad encouraging readers to "Get the Facts" from a local REALTOR® will appear in STAR Magazine on March 22 and April 12. It will run on the page facing a new feature in STAR Magazine called "Around the Block," a positive real estate-related article about readers' relationships with their neighborhoods.
Online versions of both of these messages will be dominant on the real estate page of kansascity.com. And sites served by Yahoo, and identified as frequently-visited sites by consumers searching for Kansas City area real estate information, will also display these marketing messages.
KCRAR articles by 2009 President Chris Collins, GRI, CRS, ABR will also run each month in the Saturday real estate section of The Star. This article, also displayed on kansascity.com, kicked off this aspect of the spring campaign on March 14.
Additionally, articles and ads promoting http://www.kchomeprograms.com/ and KCRAR-sponsored Homebuyer Classes will run in The Star's Neighborhood News and in the young adult-oriented Ink publication which is circulated throughout greater KC. Watch for this ad on March 25 and April 8 in Ink and a similar message online at inkkc.com.
Nationally, a very popular part of the network TV schedule is coming right up with REALTOR® commercials running in the NCAA basketball tournament. See the schedule here and watch for the TV spots as you're enjoying March Madness! For more about the NAR Public Awareness Campaign, click here.
