CE Fees Take a Holiday

KCRAR members will have a holiday from paying for Continuing Education classes during the entire year of 2005!  All regular CE classes, normally $30 each, will be no-charge for members this year only.

As a result of our large membership increase last year, the Association finds itself in a net gain position financially. Your KCRAR Board of Directors decided to spend a budget surplus on you and your education. Jim Gamble, 2005 President, said “Our membership elected us to serve their best interests and we think this is an excellent method for fulfilling that promise.”

This affords members a dual opportunity:

  • First, you may elect to attend extra classes above and beyond license renewal requirements for the sake of your general education.
  • Second, this might provide the impetus to complete most, if not all, of your renewal requirements before the Missouri deadline in 2006.

If you already attended a class this year (or already signed up to take one in the future) a refund will be processed. Allow 6-8 weeks from January 27, 2005 to receive a check or for a credit to appear on your charge statement.  However, if you registered for a class and failed to attend without 24 hour advance notice, no refund will be forthcoming.

Tips for enjoying your holiday:

Pre-registration is required for all classes, as always.  You can fax a registration to 913-498-1110 using the form included with your printed course catalog or download the form by clicking here. Or, you can simply click here to enroll online.

If you register for a class and cannot attend, you must notify us 24 hours before class or be assessed $30.  To cancel, fax a note to Michaelle Snider at 913-498-1110 or email her at michaelles@kcrar.com.  But if you enrolled online, you must cancel online too by clicking here.

You may only be registered for up to four classes at any given time.  You may attend more, but register for them as previous ones are completed.

When enrolling for a class you must provide correct license number(s).  If you do not submit this information with your enrollment (whether fax or online) you will be assessed $10.

So join us for free CE classes this year, and Bon Voyage!

To view the classes that are planned through June, click here to go to the schedule of 2005 classes and enrollment options.

Note: This does not apply to special programs such as WHS-Part II, GRI, CREST, REPA, CRS, etc. Non-member price for 3-hour CE classes is still $50.
