As in the past, the KCRAR Forms Committee has worked very hard this year to insure the KCRAR standardized forms comply with new legislation as well as making revisions for clarity, formatting changes, or other enhancements. The 2009 KCRAR forms will be released on January 2, 2009 and available on www.kcrar.com. The forms will have a 2009 copyright, please discontinue use of all previous versions once the 2009 forms are available, or February 15, 2009 at the latest.
New No-Charge Member Benefit
KCRAR is pleased to announce a new member benefit in 2009! All KCRAR REALTOR® members will have access to a new online forms service, Professional Computer Forms, at no charge! This online forms service will be available for all 2009 KCRAR forms - Residential, Commercial, and Spanish language forms.
Using Professional Computer Forms you’ll be able to complete KCRAR forms via any computer with internet access. You’ll be able to type on the forms, print them, save them in an online folder, and email them if you want. When you email forms, you can permit the other party to edit, if desired.
And here’s the best part – you’ll never have to retype the same information again. When you choose to create a profile with the buyer’s name, seller’s name, or property, you’ll just open the transaction profile and the software product will fill in the blanks for you on the forms you select. You can also choose to just work with each form individually if you don’t create a profile.
Access to this new member benefit will be available through www.kcrar.com during the first week in January, immediately after the release of the 2009 forms.
To access the secure Professional Computer Forms website, you’ll use your usual KCRAR Member Login username and password. For most members, that is the same as your HMLS login. Watch for an email from KCRAR the first week in January and/or the January issue of RealEyes for more details on this new member benefit.
KCRAR forms will continue to be available on the forms page of www.kcrar.com where they are now. So if you prefer to print forms and complete them by hand, you can continue to access them there. Forms located on that webpage will not be “type-on” forms in the future.
Printed Forms Eliminated
Starting in 2009, KCRAR will no longer print forms. Since the forms have been available online for several years, use of the printed forms has diminished to the extent that this service has negligible benefit compared to the cost to print such small quantities.
