Congratulations to KCRAR staff member Cristalle Bozarth, who recently received the MAR Award of Excellence for a Win in 2010! regarding RPAC fundraising efforts.
Cristalle is KCRAR’s Community Outreach, Diversity and RPAC Manager, and works together with Derek Ramsay (Vice President for Missouri Government Affairs and Commercial Division) and Cindy Green (Vice President of Political and Community Affairs) to increase member participation and contributions to RPAC, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee. This award was given in response to an extensive campaign Cristalle spearheaded to highlight the bottom-line impact of RPAC and the importance of investing in our industry.
“As a member of the KCRAR family, it is clear to me that RPAC supports not only my industry, but also my private property rights and interests as a homeowner,” Cristalle says. “Each year on April 15, I say a little thank-you to RPAC for once again saving the mortgage interest deduction from federal budgetary cuts. I am proud to say that all KCRAR staff members are RPAC supporters, and I hope that each of our members will also invest in RPAC.”
KCRAR President Renee Ryan-Edwards calls Government Affairs “the hardest ship we ever have to sail.”
“But Cristalle puts the wind in the sail to make it easier,” Renee says. “I highly appreciate her hard work to earn this award!”
KCRAR CEO Diane Ruggiero said the entire Government Affairs department at KCRAR does so much to further the cause of our members.
"They are tireless in their efforts in promoting and supporting favorable public policy for consumers and for REALTORS®,” Diane notes. “Cristalle went ‘above and beyond’ last year to help ensure that both of our state associations would receive the prestigious Triple Crown Award from NAR for RPAC fundraising. Nice going Cristalle!”
