Workforce Housing Specialists are working throughout the area to spread the word about the program and website www.kchomeprograms.com. A recent effort was at Discover Olathe on July 30, a community awareness event which has been held for three years. Thousands of people participated in the event at The Great Mall of the Great Plains, and of course REALTORS® were there to let folks know about our public service program.
Get involved!
To take part in this program and expand your business to the growing niche of Workforce Housing, enroll today in the two-phase training program on September 23 and October 7 and earn your Workforce Housing Specialist Certification.
The first class is taught by Sandy Goodwin, Director of Fannie Mae in Kansas City. Through it you’ll learn some answers to the challenges of the typical American family to locate financing and you’ll discover what resources are available. Through the second class you'll learn how to utilize the specially-designed website www.kchomeprograms.com, how to promote and market your new services to the community, and ultimately increase your sales. The cost for the certification program is $120 and you’ll be certified for 2005 and 2006.
If your schedule requires, you may take the “Part II” class prior to “Part I,” which will be held again on October 28.
Once you earn the WHS Certification, the program also includes ongoing seminars to add to your knowledge.
