If you haven’t yet paid your 2005 dues, which were initially invoiced November 1, please remember to get your payment to KCRAR by December 30, 2004 to avoid a $25 late fee. On January 1 any members who have not paid their dues will be assessed a $25 late fee, and payments including this late fee will be due by 5:00 pm on January 14, 2005.
Members wishing to reinstate membership after January 14, 2005 will need to re-apply as new members and pay all member application fees (KCRAR $105.00, plus state application fee) and full dues.
On January 18, 2005 ALL KCRAR and MLS services will be terminated if dues are not paid. Brokers will be billed a non-member assessment for agents who do not renew membership.
Your 2005 dues invoice included a couple of voluntary amounts which were included in the invoice total. These were for a recommended RPAC contribution as well as contributions to the Education Foundation (for Kansas members) or the Missouri Center for Education (Missouri members). RPAC and the Education contributions are described on your invoice. Some members have voiced opposition to having these voluntary line items included on invoices as they were this year, and others have voiced support for this procedure. The Board of Directors has been advised of these comments. The Board always welcomes members’ input and will discuss this topic prior to next year’s dues invoicing.
