Missouri CRS Chapter presents "The Personal Assistant: Finding-Hiring-Training" with Ed Hatch, CRB, CRS.  If you’ve been considering hiring a personal assistant, don’t miss this class!  The session will be held during the MAR meetings here in Kansas City on April 5, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency.

"The Personal Assistant: Finding-Hiring-Training" is a dynamic one-day course which will help the student both understand and implement the steps of creating the “model” for hiring an effective personal assistant by creating a job description of specific tasks and identifying appropriate personal qualities. Students will learn how to create an effective time management system for themselves and their assistant and how to implement income-producing strategies, which their assistant will be able to use to enhance their business.

This session contains the most up-to-date information on finding, hiring, training and managing an effective personal assistant.

Course Content:

  • Creating a job description and determining the "right" qualities
  • Determining appropriate status, i.e. independent contractor vs. employee and licensed vs. unlicensed
  • Where to find an assistant and 20 appropriate interview questions
  • Creating a written agreement
  • 7 key points for being an effective personal assistant
  • Step-by-step systems and strategies for your assistant to follow to generate income.

As a professional REALTOR®, Ed Hatch holds the CRB, CRS, and GRI designations.  Since becoming licensed in 1977, he has excelled in every phase of the profession: salesperson, manager, and broker owner.  He was also the 1998 president of the Council of Residential Specialists.

As a trainer, Ed is a senior instructor for CRS and as president of Ed Hatch Seminars has spoken to over 100 audiences a year since 1990.  He has been a featured speaker at the last 15 consecutive NAR Conventions, nine CRS Sell-a-brations and has spoken internationally.
