As you may know, the KCRAR Board of Directors approved the Advisory Group’s recommendation for Housing Opportunity and the Board has committed KCRAR funds for the program start-up.

The Housing Opportunity plan appears to be an ambitious but realistic project. This initiative allows the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS to contribute to our community while helping members within our industry to grow and prosper; a true “win-win”.   It is evident that the one result of the KCRAR Housing Opportunity program will be increased awareness and positive recognition of area REALTORS.

We committed that the President’s Advisory Group (PAG) would not be a long standing committee.  The work of the PAG would be complete once the Board of Directors approved the plan.  The PAG is now officially dissolved.  We are now ready to roll up our sleeves and implement these great ideas.  We are forming three committees to accomplish all that needs to be in place by the first of next year; one committee that will focus on the Website component, one committee that will outline all details of the Education component of the plan, and the Promotion committee which will be involved in all aspects of developing the marketing and PR for the program.
