The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) was created under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. In response to the recent foreclosure crisis, the federal government has allocated the city of Kansas City, MO $7.3 million to buy and repair vacant and foreclosed homes in the urban core, and re-sell at affordable prices to qualifying buyers.
NSP hopes to work with REALTORS® to identify eligible buyers. There are incentives for REALTORS® to participate in the program, too!
Find out all the details at an Information Workshop for REALTORS® next Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd St., Kansas City, MO.
KCRAR will also host a Free Friday Focus Workshop on the program Dec. 4. Get the details here.
