The KAR “Right Track: Leadership in Motion” program was created to develop the leadership potential of REALTORS® in Kansas. The goal of the program is to identify and prepare emerging leaders who can help advance the quality of life in their Kansas communities and empower them to maximize their leadership potential.

If you know of someone in your company or someone active in KCRAR that you think has what it takes to be a future leader, please forward their name to Debbie Strange at KCRAR and she will send them an application for appointment and more information. You can find out more about the program, including a brochure and application, at www.kansasrealtor.com/righttrack.html.

The program will include four retreats in Topeka, Kansas City and Wichita. There will also be an optional one-day, stand-alone retreat in Kansas City. Only 14 people statewide will be selected for this program. Those endorsed by KCRAR and selected by KAR to participate will receive scholarships covering the tuition cost of $279 and an honorarium to help cover their travel costs.

It was a real hands-on guide for how to get involved in our industry and have a voice. I now feel like I can more intelligently carve a map for myself in regards to getting on board with the leadership of our industry."
