Thank you to everyone who attended the KCRAR Resource Rally "Let's Go Green" on March 12! We had over 800 REALTORS® in attendance.

Exhibitors came up with creative and entertaining ways to embrace the "Green" theme, including a "tree hugger" and green-sequined Elvis impersonator from Pulaski Bank and various "green" giveaways, including green water bottles from Missouri Secured Title and organic dark chocolate from Stewart Title, and much, much more! Thank you to ALL the exhibitors who offered their resources and expertise.

Attendees at the rally voted to award the following exhibitors with a special recognition: Best Giveaway to Stewart Title; Best Dressed to Continental Title; Best Theme to Missouri Secured Title and two awards - Most Fun and Best in Show - to Pulaski Bank.

Special thanks to speakers at the rally: City Administrator Steve Hewitt from Greensburg, Kan., who talked about completely rebuilding a community that's sustainable and green; REALTOR® Laura Sterchi, who presented "Guide to Green - A New Role for the Real Estate Professional"; Linda Goold, NAR Director of Federal Taxation, who gave REALTORS® the facts about the First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit; and Corky Hyatt, CRB, CRS, GRI, who presented "Differentiate or Die," and showed REALTORS® how to put more "green" in their pocket by using new communications and marketing, including social media.

And finally, congratulations to Reece & Nichols' Janet Madsen, winner of the Harvesters drawing for a $25 QuikTrip gift card. Thanks to all who donated for Harvesters' annual "Go for the Green" food drive!
