KCRAR, along with Proshred, will host the second annual free Community Shredding event on May 20. You’re invited to use this opportunity to clean out and dispose of documents in a secure, environmentally-conscious way.

Judy Miller from Prudential Kansas City Realty participated in last year’s KCRAR Community Shred.

Cecil Lovett, Broker/Owner at Reece & Nichols REALTORS®, Excelsior Springs, also made the trip to KCRAR’s office for the 2008 Shred. 

“Last year's SHRED EVENT was a great idea which I deeply appreciated," Cecil says. "As owner of three real estate offices closed files seem to mount up. We store them in the file room which becomes cluttered as we move the three-year-old files out of the file cabinet to make room for the newer files. We have a responsibility to depose of customer/client files containing very confidential personal and financial information in a controlled manner. On-site shredding at KCRAR was a great opportunity to destroy files in a very controlled and secure manner.”

Shredding documents will:

• Combat identity theft;
• Conserve the environment, as 100% of all shredded documents are recycled; and
• Safely destroy confidential documents. PROSHRED®’s mobile shredding trucks will be onsite to securely shred your confidential documents.
