With the extension and expansion of the federal Homebuyer Tax Credits, your REALTOR® associations have geared up Public Awareness Campaigns to help spread the word. Here in the KC area, that includes this article by KCRAR President Chris Collins, which appeared in the December 12 edition of The Kansas City Star.
Nationally, additional funds were approved for radio commercials to be added in November and December to the 2009 Campaign. TV spots about the Tax Credits will start to air after the holidays.
So take advantage of the groundwork laid by the Public Awareness campaigns! Call your past clients who may be on the fence about buying or selling – let them know now’s a great time to act and take advantage of the credits, which are available through April 30, 2010. The tax credits won’t be extended beyond that date, so the “Spring market” starts now!
