After more than a year of planning, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals – Kansas City (NAHREP-KC) is now open and accepting membership.
NAHREP's mission is to increase Hispanic homeownership rates by empowering the advisors that serve them. NAHREP strives to accomplish this through the power of advocacy and by providing educational tools and a networking forum. NAHREP-KC President and REALTOR® Nestor Zuluaga, Reece & Nichols Overland Park/Leawood, saw “an opportunity to provide services that are tailored to the needs and wants” of our area’s large Hispanic community.
“I knew that NAHREP was a great partner to REALTOR® associations nationwide, and I felt that bringing their values to Kansas City would be a great addition to the benefits offered by KCRAR,” Zuluaga said. “The NAHREP Board of Directors and I are excited about establishing our new chapter and having the opportunity to better serve the Hispanic community.”
NAHREP-KC is looking forward to being a great resource for members of the real estate industry that work within the Hispanic community and are currently accepting members for the 2010 year. Membership dues are only $100 and include several educational and networking events and other benefits.
