Brokers, Please Note this New Procedure for Better Service

Starting this month, your new agents will need to follow a new procedure intended to streamline the important process of joining the Association.  To provide better service, more complete information and less waiting, new members will need to call the KCRAR office for an appointment before coming to join.

Information new members receive when they join will now be expanded to include vital information and training about the new lockboxes and electronic keys.  It would be helpful for new members to know about the key fee schedule before they come to their appointment.  As you know, KCRAR has recently changed lockbox systems, and all members will be on a uniform Supra billing schedule starting in August 2004.  Until then, as new members join, key fees will include a one-time $50 activation fee and the following prorated amounts:

Display Key
For new members in:  January & February -- $135
                                    March, April, & May -- $90
                                    June, July, & August --  $45 

eKey Basic
For new members in:  January & February -- $180
                                    March, April, & May -- $120
                                    June, July, & August --  $60

eKey Professional
For new members in:  January & February -- $225
                                    March, April, & May -- $150
                                    June, July, & August --  $75

Optional Insurance for Display Key
For new members in:  January & February -- $18.75
                                    March, April, & May -- $12.50
                                    June, July, & August --  $6.25
