Affiliate members are an important component of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS®. These members are representatives of real estate-related companies that offer services and support to our REALTOR® members. The types of companies range from lenders, title companies and warranty companies to termite, home inspection and staging services. Affiliate members are also supportive of our membership through their sponsorship and volunteer commitments on various events and committees.

So the next time you meet an Affiliate member, know they are there to assist you in your business.

The Affiliate Advisory Group has approved two new services for our current and future Affiliate members. The first is a mentorship program in which members of the Affiliate Advisory Group (from a different type of company) are available to contact you and explain the opportunities at KCRAR. They will try to answer any questions and invite you to join them at the next region function in your area.

We are also proud to announce our first-ever KCRAR Affiliate Networking & Business Development Event. This will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 16 at the KCRAR classroom. We’ll have networking for the first 30 minutes and a great panel of experts will follow: Janell Enderson – benefits of being an affiliate member; Richard Bobbitt – dealing with HVCC issues and communication; Rob Curtis – make the most of networking; Lynette Arrasmith – effective presentations for office sales meetings; and Jennifer Martin, who will provide the broker’s perspective and serve as panel moderator.
