KCRAR is currently working to create an updated language list of our REALTOR®/Affiliate members who are fluent in various languages.  This is an expansion of our program that had been certifying only Spanish language members as “fluent”.

Updating this list offers us one more opportunity to effectively help buyers or sellers who may know English as their second language but would be more comfortable working with an agent who is fluent in their native language.  In order for this list to be accurate, we will be certifying members as fluent speakers.  This is a three-step process:

• Contact Cristalle Bozarth via phone or email.

• A representative from a local translation company will contact you by phone and speak to you as a consumer in your language of choice.  They will only speak the language you have chosen.  After a brief conversation following a script, the representative will then decide if you are fluent and will contact Cristalle with the results.

• Certified fluent members will be placed on our new list of foreign language certified REALTORS®/Affiliates.  This list will be made available to our members on http://www.kcrar.com/, and the public on both http://www.kchomeprograms.com/ and http://www.kcrealtorlink.com/. 

If you would like to be certified, this is FREE; however, if you go through the process and are not certified, you will be charged a $30 fee per language (the amount we pay for certifying a member).
