Please remember that training on the REALTOR® Code of Ethics must be completed by December 31, 2004.  This training has been mandated by NAR, and failure to complete the required periodic ethics training shall be considered a violation of a membership duty for which REALTOR® membership shall be suspended.

To schedule your training class, please check the KCRAR Course Catalog or the on-line class listing at http://www.kcrar.com/kcrar.aspx?170  for the CE class “Behave Yourself! The Code of Ethics” which is scheduled frequently.

If you don’t need the CE, other ways to complete the training include a free self-paced on-line course at www.realtor.org.  The course offers the ability to customize the content for members working in either residential or commercial real estate. When registering you'll be asked to choose the appropriate course track, residential or commercial.   KCRAR is also offering an in-office course that brokers can coordinate with KCRAR’s Debbie Strange (debbies@kcrar.com) and there are state-level courses from time-to-time.

Please note that if you take the class any other way than through KCRAR, you must send confirmation of completion to the Association.  To do so you may fax or mail in a copy of your certification of completion to KCRAR, attention Debbie Strange, 11150 Overbrook Road, Suite 100, Leawood, KS  66211.  The fax number is 913-498-1110.
