KCRAR implemented a new RPAC program this year called the “100% RPAC Office Challenge.” All KCRAR offices were asked to participate in the program, which required each active member of the office to invest in RPAC. Once they achieved 100%, they were entered into a drawing to win a catered breakfast for their entire office.

We had seven offices participate in the challenge: Prudential Kansas City, Reece & Nichols Eastland, Reece & Nichols Overland Park/Leawood, RE/MAX Premier Realty, Reece & Nichols Overland Park, Coldwell Banker – John Moffitt and Keller Williams Platinum. The offices each did a fantastic job raising awareness of RPAC and our legislative victories while also raising money for RPAC. We thank them for their efforts and hope that they (and YOU) accept the challenge in 2010!

Congratulations to Prudential Kansas City for its efforts in collecting RPAC contributions from each of the 144 members in their office! It was an amazing feat, and the office will receive a catered breakfast for the achievement.

Past KCRAR President and Prudential Kansas City broker Kathy Copeland said it’s easy to believe in and support RPAC knowing it’s on the side of REALTORS® and homeowners.

“RPAC is our safety net for our real estate business and our personal homes,” Copeland said. “The investment each of us makes in RPAC has a very high return on investment. In fact, I know that in 2008, RPAC supported issues that saved our REALTORS® over $6,000 each! We have to look no further than the protection we get on legislative issues such as Real Estate Transfer Taxes – Kansas and Missouri are two of only 13 states without such a tax – and the advocacy we receive on issues like creating and now expanding the first-time homebuyer tax credit.”

Reece & Nichols Eastland (broker Lisa Hill) also reached 100% office contribution. All 68 agents contributed to RPAC and will receive cookies for their efforts!
