What classes have you taken?  What do you need to attend? There are various ways to find out.

1)  Check the file of course completion certificates you’ve been keeping in your desk.

2) www.KCRAR.comshows what courses you’ve attended at our school. Go to Member Login then click on “Education History.” You can also go to the link for “License Renewal Requirement” in the Education section for a helpful chart and more information regarding both states.  The courses at KCRAR are approved for dual credit with KS & MO.  If you take the right combination of 4 classes you will have both states covered.

3) Specifically for Missouri renewal: Everyone, regardless of license issue date, needs 12 hours of CE dated after 10/1/06.  The course codes on your certificates must include a three-hour course starting with CC and also nine hours of classes starting with the letter V.  Brokers renew in June 2008 and Salespersons renew in September 2008.

4) Specifically for Kansas renewal: Everyone renews at a different time in a two-year period depending on your last initial. When is yours?  See our chart on www.KCRAR.com under Education / License Renewal Requirement. You need 12 hours of CE dated since your last renewal.   Or, you can go to the Kansas Real Estate Commission at www.accesskansas.org/KREC for a complete record under “Check CEU Hours.” For the course codes on your certificates, you need a three-hour course starting with M and also nine hours of classes starting with the letter E. (Brokers must have three hours starting with M and also three hours starting with MB, and then six hours starting with E.)

5) Everyone must attend Code of Ethics training in the four-year cycle ending 12/21/08.  This is a requirement of remaining a REALTOR® and has nothing to do with license renewal.  Go to KCRAR.com and click on Required Ethics for more information.
